What to Know Before You Finance

Our Current Financing Programs

The financing program we currently introduce customers to is six months same as cash, with rates from 9.99% to 11.99% on approved credit. The lender makes every credit decision and sets every loan amount and annual percentage rate. Russell Quality Roofing and Russell Construction & Excavation do not extend credit, make loan decisions, or collect loan payments.

This program applies to full roof replacement projects and to construction projects, subject to the lender’s minimum project amount and approval. Whether you are replacing an entire roof or building a new pole barn, we will go over the program with you during your estimate.

Before You Apply

Know your lender. When you finance through one of our partners, your agreement is with that lender. Know their name before you sign.
Ask about soft and hard pulls. If you compare more than one offer, confirm whether each lender is doing a soft credit pull or a hard pull first. Several hard inquiries can lower your credit score.
Secure your funding before you sign. Get your free estimate, then confirm how the project will be paid for. Please do not sign a contract until your funding is secured, not just looked into.

Russell Quality Roofing offers a $250 senior discount and a $250 military discount on roof replacement and new roof installation projects. If you qualify for both, they can be combined for $500 off. All loan applications, terms, and credit decisions are handled directly by the lender, and the lender may review your credit as part of the application. If your insurance company requires proof of a scheduled roof replacement, we can provide a signed proposal or other documentation for you to share with them.

Preparing Your Roof for Solar

If solar is in your plans, the roof comes first. Some solar providers want the roof inspected or replaced before panels go on. Russell Quality Roofing does not install solar panels or solar roofing, but we can replace your roof so it’s ready. We partner with third-party lenders to offer financing for your projects, subject to lender approval.

What is the best way to pay for a roof replacement or construction project?

That depends on your budget and your situation. Some homeowners pay from savings, some use the third-party financing program we connect them with, and some use their own bank or credit union. Whatever you choose, get your free estimate first, then confirm how the project will be paid for before you sign.

What projects can I finance?

The current financing program covers full roof replacements and construction projects, such as a pole building, custom deck, or siding. It does not cover roof repairs. Most programs set a minimum project amount that is higher than a typical repair.

How do I know if I qualify for financing?

The lender decides, based on your credit. We’ll walk you through the application process. Before you apply, ask whether the lender is doing a soft pull or a hard pull.

Do payment plans affect the warranties on my project?

No. Financing does not affect your product or workmanship warranties.

How quickly can a project begin once financing is approved?

Once your financing is approved and your contract is signed, we’ll schedule your project. The start date depends on material availability, permitting, and weather.

Can I combine financing with an insurance claim?

If storm damage is part of the picture, contact your insurance company first and follow their claim process. Russell does not process or manage insurance claims. We provide the inspection, documentation, and information your insurer asks for. If your insurance does not cover the full cost of a replacement, you may be able to finance the remaining amount, subject to lender approval.
